Cheap subs that get loud. under $80

Indeed, give them 1k rms and don't look back. Mine are probably getting around their rms rating after box rise, most people seem to rise by 2-3x their nominal impedance and mine are getting 2.3x what they are rated for. I have never had mine bottom out or smell or any other sort of issue. They are excellent subs for the $.

I wanna cut down my port and see if I can squeeze a 140 out of them with a higher tuning.

i just havent had good luck out of BA products. i have a gt 275 amp that overheated right out of the box. gains were set with dmm

hmm thats odd, quite the opposite for me, I have never used their amps but I have never had a bad experience with their products.

Well ended up getting a pair of hifonics hfi12d4 from vm innovations for under 80 shipped. Then had an enclosure made for them. These little subs have surprised the hell out of me.

Guy here in Tulsa has 4 of those in a real shltty homemade box on a 1500 watt AP amp. They get pretty loud for what they are!

They actually sound pretty good also. This box is far from shitty though. A guy on here built it for me.

Yep. Subs came this morning. I went and picked up the box this afternoon and installed everything. Fed ex ships insanely quick lol
