Skar or Fi

im looking into getting a new sub, im thinking either skar zvx 18" or fi bl 18".

what do you guys think?

Just cause the owner is sketchy doesn't mean the product isn't good.

Op either sub would be a great choice. ZVX line is new but the VVX line is great so I'd assume the ZVX line to be great too.

He didn't scam me and sure as hell wasn't shady to me when I bought from him. I got an enclosure from him (from the subs + box deal) and the port wall was loose. Yeah it's' an easy fix to just screw down, but instead he shipped me another box free of charge.

He may have a bad rep for being sketchy, but the subs are still a good product and perform well.

Well OP everybody is going to say Fi. Nobody here likes Skar due to his shadyness so whether or not his subs are good doesn't matter, it's just based on him as a person.

Both companies make good products so it's really up to you.

That is too general of a statement as there are many factors involved. It all depends on the install. You would be happy with either choice.

I have actually been able to get better customer service from skar. I will say fi if buying brand new but don't aspect any email returns relatively fast
