Im looking for a 10" sub that has a mounting depth of 5" or less to fit in a box under the backseat of my f150 for around $100 or less whats the best I can do? I dont have an amp picked out yet so no power requirements, low cubic size to, probably around .6 cubic feet, its gonna be enclosed

Thanks for any help

I used to own a 2004 F150 SuperCab. I had real good luck using two Image Dynamic IDQ10 dvc. They have a mounting depth 4.5" and sound great in a .65ft*3 box each speaker. I ran them off an Alpine MRD-M1000 amp. I ran my front components and mid-bass woofers of an Alpine MRV-F545. There is room behind the rear seat to install your amps, fuseblock ect.. Check this out to see what I had purchased www.supercrewsound.com/04F150SCrewUTSdual.html

I paid for the extra 5/8 mounting depth just to add alittle more airspace to the box. I hope this helped.

I second the IDQ. The sound great on small inclosures. Aren't power hungry monster. They are very musical probably aren't going to thump your chest or awe people outside of the vehicle but play the musical notes great.

not sure how much power your using but rockford has a 300.1 that is almost the size of an iphone, you might want to check it out

and for mids and highs they have the 300.4, i use this 300.4 due to size limitations for my mids and highs
