cheap sound deadener??

Do i need to make thoss panels to put on the door like he did and im not sure what that black cover is for? So I should deaden the very inside part of the door and the part between the panel and the door correct? If that makes sense. Im really just trying to stop the rattling because its obnoxious. Sorry for the questions man I just wanna make sure I got it right before I waste money.

yes everything will contribute to making your doors extremely silent and sound/rattle proof even the extra black layer which is CCF. Do the inside and the outside and seal off the big gaping holes. If you want to sound deaden might as well do it completely right the first time, because revisiting it will be a pain in the A$$ since that sh*t sticks like a mofo. added bonuses to doing this, your speakers will sound astronomically better.

Okay so basically when I'm done deadening it I can spray the door down with the CCF? And what would be a good amount to do the front and rear doors? Like I said i have a extended cab truck so my rear doors are small. Thanks for all this help Im really learning a lot.

yes you got it. You'll probably need about 20-24 square feet if you want to do the inner layer and outer layer
