Cheap set up for a saturn.

For the power, I was impressed with the lower end pioneers (as in cheap).

They had a much deeper midbass than other speakers I listened too, which was always lacking in a typical stock system. And without a subwoofer, it helps a tad.

 
Alright, I think Ill go with them. He wants the bass and I found a pair that is 35 watt rms per speaker, so that should be powered decently by 17.

It will definitely sound better than stock.

 
Out of lower grade speakers, they had a more extensive lower end.

Don't expect a subwoofer's pounding, but they'll get a lot lower than a basic stock setup, and lower than most of the other cheap coaxials.

 
if running off deck power check the sensitivity number NOT the RMS. Higher the number the louder they'll get off deck power.

I'd recommend powerbass comps from millionbuy for $37 for coax's for $18 and a refurbed Profile amp from their online store. Amps are like $35 for a small 2 channel...
