A couple weeks ago i upgraded to my first set of 15"s, and i like them and everything but they seem to be lacking on the higher end bass notes. Like anything from say 60hz on up seems to be almost non existant. For example, that ti song whatever you like that has all the higher frequencies wanged on my previous setups with 10s, 12s but now that i have 15s i notice they get alot lower, but dont respond well to the higher notes. Im using the same lpf and everything, same box style too (sealed, slanted face) I built the box myself and im wondering if its not too big and thats affecting them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif Its like .5 cubes per sub over whats recommended by the manufacturer, which was caused by me doing some inaccurate math when getting the wood cut //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Ive played the higher notes and looked at the subs and they sound like garbage when trying to reproduce those notes. Theyre getting about 500wrms on an alpine m500, gain is about half, no bass boost or anything. You guys have any idea of things i can check?
