Center Console Design

2 questions:

a) does anyone know if '04 f-150 bucket seats will fill in the rear-seat mounting locations of an '04 f-150 supercrew?

b)also, has anyone done a rear-seat center console design. I've been figuring and planning a design for the past few days and I was wondering if anyone has hit any snags or major complications. If you or anyone you know has any good ideas and/or pictures of the install, please let me know. Thanks.

there...now it's 29...and no i have not tried to fit a front seat in the back...take some measurements and find out

anything to a vehicle can be done...if enough effort is put into it.....

Should be able to do it but I'm imagining you would need to fab up some brackets and maybe cut up the seat mounts and such to get them yo bolt in properly. With a little cutting and welding you should be able to get it done. I'm guessing you own an 04 F150 that has front buckets. On a nice day take out your back seat and then take out the fronts and slide em back and mock something up and see how they might fit. Worst case I'm thinking you will need to make new mounts 50/50 using the legs and such from the bucket seats down to new floor adaptor plates an and such.

You could come up with some front to back center console design after you get the seat configuration all figured out. Would be pretty sweet.

i'd imagine the leg room would be shot at that point... what i wanted to do is get another pass side rear seat botom and work it in on the drv side and run a console through the middle of them...
