CD load problem in car audio

Hi,

I have Ford Focus 2005 with factory fitted CD player. It has been working perfectly till recently while driving on highway when I ejected the CD I forget to remove it and I left it half out half inside the head. Since then every time I try to load the CD it is just does not work.

Do I have to take it to garage or there are few things that I can try myself, Please help

if it was in direct sunlight then your CD is probably messed up.

that doesn't make sense..

there may be a problem with the cd drive. if it doesn't want to take anything in then take it to a shop or have it replaced with an aftermarket.

haven't u ever heard that u are not suppose to leave cd's in direct sunlight. he didn't say he tried another CD and it didn't work either. if he did i wouldn't have said what i said.

he's talking about the CD player not the CD. his english sucks.
