okay so i used the "drag and drop" method via the blank disc window. from their i go to file and click write these files to cd. after that i burn the disc using audio and then i did data for another cd. (this goes for 1kz tones).

i went in the car and tried to set the gains and barely any voltage was read from my dmm. i stuck in my bass mekanik cd and got a bit reasonable voltage, but they only go up to 99hz.

sorry for the long read but what am i doing wrong when burning, i also tried windows media player's burning program. thanks

windows built in burning softwares are low quality burning softwares. You want to make a music CD so you want to use something like Nero or Roxio Easy Media Creator.

sounds to me like the files are being eq'd before they're burned

use a standalone burning program to make sure it's being burned correctly (with no processing)

CDburnerXP pro is a good free program

try it out, and see if the same thing happens.
