Cavalier Install, Mag, CDT, eD, US Amps

Does that grill for the front speakers pop out? cut it of if not... just use that as a base and make some fiberglass pods. That is what I did in my old monte carlo... it had an odd shapped grill like that too.

Not too shabby, but like others have said, fix the door panels and hopefully that sub is sealed off from the trunk. Overall looks good. I like the volt meter!

I had a 2002 cavalier with a couple Type R's and a pretty nice laid install. I also had Alpine Type X componets 5.25 and they have a big depth to them. I actually got them in there and sounded really good. I will see if I can find pics of them soon.

2x ... my girlfriend competes in MECA with her Cavalier, and we've spent hours on the Termlab with her setup and found that if you let the trunk breathe around the box intersection to the interior that you gain at least 1.5 db
Im finding it hard to believe you'd gain output by increasing cabin size. Now if you are talking about a rear firing setup, that makes a whole lot more sense. But this is a forward firing setup, generally speaking it should be sealed off from the trunk to maximize performance. Nothing too mysterious there.

sorry if you find it hard to believe, ive done plenty of testing to back it up. Also she got louder with the trunk open during her spl runs. Maybe you've not spent time with a termlab and a cavalier before //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
