Cat back suggestions

That isn't bad. I'm sure he has his suspension dialed very well. Usually the 4th Gen guys have to run the gay rear mount setups but if they spend some quality time doing fabrication and stuff, they will get it mounted in the bay, which is way better for boost.

bout lost his shit one night this yr lol

Lol yeah that car leaves pretty hard. I would be running high 5's on much less power though. I guess we will see though.
I just saw this vid and it kinda made me laugh. Guy almost loses it and still comes back for the win when the other guy lets out.

@wenn_du_weinst; Costs a lot more money to go fast around turns. lol

lmao... i see hondas walk v8s all the time.... your just mad cause you probably got beat by an economy car
I dont think so buddy. My 04 Cobra is pushing 672hp and 703tq, replaced factory supercharger with a whipple. And these #s are on my most conservative tune. They were both in the low 800's with the most aggressive tune. I run low 10's all day with the conservative tune. I eat hondas for breakfast. Cant even hear those fart cans over my exhaust.

all you did was replace the supercharger ? lol sounds fishy to me

Most of your popular tuner brands (apexi, injen, DC Sports) will most likely sound pretty raspy. One thing I would like to ask though, is do you have a Cold Air Intake? On almost all small displacement engines, the Cold Air kits will actually deepen the tone of the exhaust and make them sound a little more throaty. I would recommend that if you haven't already.

I just have a drop in K&N filter. Didn't notice any change.

For the magnaflow, they only come in for the SI. Will it still work for my car? And that kit seems like a lot more than just replacing exhausts...

apexi and skunk2 are good. the magnaflow sounds pretty raspy imo. are you running stock header? i'd upgrade that before the cat-back, no point in having stock flow from header into a higher flow system ya dig?

No I replaced the pullies, the injectors and exhaust. Catless Magnaflow with Magna flow X pipe and LT headers. The stock Block and internals can handle 1200HP out of the factory. They come forged and the motors are hand built from the SVT department of Ford. Intake did not need replaced and of course you need to tune the car when it is not gonna run with stock parts anymore. Like i mentioned in my prior post there are 3 tunes saved in my handheld tuner that was programmed at the tuner while the car was on the Dyno. Cost 2 grand just to Dyno and tune the car. But those are the only upgrades made to the car perfromance wise. The stock fuel pump can push enough for 800hp. The 03/04 Cobras are beasts and are the best cars to do any upgrades to, They take the upgrades well and a lot of the groundwork is done for these cars. The Blocks in these will handle more power then the new Shelby's can.

And obviously I replaced the Supercharger the stock Eatons are OK but just not as good as the Whipple or the Kenne Belle made for the Cobra. There is a reason these cars still go for 15k with over 100k miles and still up to 35k with under 10k miles on them. Most are in the 20k-25k price range and vary from 20k mikes to 70k miles in those price ranges. Of course there are always a few out there for cheaper and higher prices. I could trade my Cobra in to Honda now for a brand new Civic and walk out with money in my pocket.

forgot to add the throttle body was switched out as well. And I did add a boost a pump to the fuel delivery to replace the factory fuel pump, I didn't need to but I would rather have a better unit in there just in case.

Okay well enough of the "my dick is bigger than yours" discussion. Keep it to fucking PM's.

Why do I need headers before an exhuast?

If you can find these in your area. Id recommend these for drop ins. They play from 40Htz on up. Sound very nice on amplified power for premium...
