Carpet application help...anyone?

I've got a quick question...I'm bonding a light carpet to my box (made of mdf) and am curious what the best adhesive to use would be. Spray? Other? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

3M makes some amazing contact spray adhesives that work very well and set quickly. My personal preference is towards contact cements because I know that once it dries, nothing will be able to take it off. The others adhesives' bond strengths can be affected by temperature and other factors.

Dap weldwood. Make sure to put it on both the carpet and the box. Then let it tack up good before you try to put it together. If you do this you will never have a problem with the adhesive coming lose. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm worried about it "bleeding" through the carpet...anyone think i'll have any problems???

Don't brush it on so thick and you will not have a problem. I can't stress the importance of letting it tack up before putting the two surfaces together.
