alpine type-r 15" and amp question

hey ppl,

i just had a real quick question...

i have an ALPINE SWR-1521D (ALPINE TYPE-R 15" 2ohm)

with a 500w RMS/1500w peak...

would you recommend the US Acoustic USX800's or the USX1000's???

if i chose the 1000's, would the subs be able to handle the amps?

Rule of thumb more power never hurts, and you can always turn your gains down!!

i am running 1060 watts to my type r 15, i hit 140 db at the dash (took second place) and at the last competition i went to i took 1st in SQ....the can take way more than their 1500 peak rating...i have been told they can take up to 2100 watts peak....
