i GOT it because it was a great deal and i had the go ahead. but somehow, he forgot my race so now my 5yr dream is null and void. i'm going to sell it, i have no use for a driver of that magnitude.

Man that sux lemans. I think what you should do in the interim is start upgrading the invisible portions of your system. Do the big-3, then flex loom it and make it look stock. Install the aftermarket speakers with the harnesses. Deaden the car doors and floor. Sludge the trunk. Then keep on him about replacing the stock stereo. Forgo the sub/amp for now and work on the little stuff. Eventually he will break. Oh yeah, ask him to go to some car shows, or ask him if you can go with your friends to some car shows. Most of the car shows I've been to have something to do with car audio.

thanks man, and i have an update in the situation. he tried to "compromise" with me by saying that i should get a job as an installer for other people.............i think that this is self explanatory as to why it is ludicrous.

dad says lemans can buy dd 9515, lemans pays for sub. lemans begins building box and dad comes out and says that because my friend's car's deck doesn't work properly, that i can't have a setup. lemans has to prove him wrong, which lemans does. dad turns on his word and says that because lemans is a minority, he will be targeted by the police and i will be shot with no recourse as though it is the 1960's in alabama.
