Car Shakes A Lot

I own a 1993 Nissan Altima GXE. When it is cold outside and I start the car it shakes extremely bad. It vibrates the whole entire car, just wondering if anyone on here may know what the problem is. I heard it might possibly be the belt, is this possible, and if so how would the belt make it vibrate like this?

what are the bushing never heard of em, and can i get new ones and if so can i repair this or does an auto mechanic have to

Could be that the bushings aren't damping the engine vibrations because they're rigid from the cold ...

alright so i need new motor mounts i guess? Can i fix this myself or is it pretty hard

It probably not a problem, I have had cars that shake on start up when it is cold. If it is the motor mounts they are kind of complicated to replace, it all depends how mechanically inclined you are.

exactly, you need a lift and all sorts of shit, if its the motor mount your have to take it to a shop and then they will charge you an arm and a leg in labor //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

x2, it one of things where the parts are cheap but the labor will kick your a**.

alright thanks for the help, i will have them check it out and see what they can do and about how expensive that would be, thanks
