Car problem

Oh look at this!

We have Broshiph Butt Buddies! THIS CAN GET CUTE!
no i actaully try to give people help when it's needed and don't have to make myself feel all high and mighty by trying to act like hard *** over the internet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

alright.. so so u think maybe if i were able to get another car to the dealership and jump the car and rev the other car and try to charge the battery enough to get me home for a 12 min drive?would that work?

but then i think i might need to keep the car there just to make it actually is the alt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
there's no promise on how far you can drive it if the alt is shot and you're just running on the batt could be 2 min could be 10 min. check the connection on the alt and make sure none of them have came loose or anything also check the fuse to the between the alt and batt and make sure it hasn't popped by come chance.

well heres what the dealership said. i had a shorted resistor at the fuel pump which is why my car died.. so i guess friday the 13th got me on that one.. and then as far as my battery being drained goes they think they found the problem.

my ignition cylinder was screwed up.. you could pull the key out in 2 of the modes.. 1 of the modes was when the car was completely off.. and then the other mode was the accessory mode that powers all the computers.. so what we think happened is that i would sometimes leave it in that accessory mode and pull the key out(ignition block isnt supposed to let me pull it out in that mode) and then it would drain the battery in a matter of hours.

total costed $422

lets hope its fixed now

i made sure to have them check the alternator and make absolutely sure nothing was wrong with it and they said it was fine

aren't cars just fun stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. it's kinda hard to work on them if you don't have the stuff to test what it sounds like is causing your problem so we could rule those out.

when the car was dying was it really rough when it was doing it? or did it just slowly shut down and turn off?

when you start it.. it was fine.. when u tried to drive it.. it was rough and died after like 2 secs

well the rough thing would have been a good thing to say. cuz that would have told us it's not the alt it wouldn't really be rough if the batt was dying it was just be really weak and just cut out after a few min

well i said it felt like it was backfiring.. thats like rough

yea i guess i kinda over looked that. oh well glad you hear you figured it out
apparently nothing was fixed because my car is dead AGAIN... i went out there and tried to unlock it with the remote and it started making a quiet constant beeping noise.. when i tried to start the car nothing happened.. no clicks no nothing but the beeping stopped.. but once i took the key back out it started beeping again and it probably still is out in the parking lot..

**** my life

i dont know what to do now.. im out of emergency road services for the year with AAA because of this and the $350 i spent to "fix" this problem didnt do shit..

WHAT THE ****!!!

take your ap out and see if you have the same problem. also i wouldnt use the heated seats anymore
ok heres what happened.. got the car back on thurs.. they gave me a new battery but couldnt do much else because they didnt know what was wrong.. so i got home on thursday and unhooked the amp immediately

i then let the car sit for about 30 hrs.. tried to start it... DEAD

so now it may be either my factory amp or my headunit... if its not either of those then my car is possessed and ill have to install a turn off switch but thats annoying as **** to have to turn that off everytime i get out of the car.. id like to fix this.
