Car is totalled..... Great start to a weekend

Well the car Ive had for 12 years ( ol rusty but trusty ) has been murdered... The car Ive been through it all in, will hold on to many memories... 6 Deer hits, many girlfriends and good times, and my Stereo car that I have beat in since '99 has come to a haulting end.. Literally

I was going through an intersection ( green light ) She was coming from my right, blew the red light and I T-Boned her.. she was in a minivan, and I was doing about 30.. Just got out of the hospital and got some meds now just gonna pass the fawk out

Anyone know how the insurance works out in these? I mean I know the car isnt worth much, but Its the car I used for work/miles etcetc and Retail/ or book value means nothing to them, even tho this car could go anyther 50K, Its the reliability of some other $1500 car they are gonna try to get me into

I dont know if that made sense..

But I would rather not get some POS, that is the same book value of what my Grand Am is worth..

because to me this car is worth more than Anything they are going to try to give me for it, and for the 1000-1500 they give, I know I wont find another, nor will I know where that one has been..

thanks bro.. Not my first, but 1st in about 12 yrs....

She at least admitted right off the bat , no BS she ran through the stoplight, so thank God I hit someone honest lol

Seeing her clear as day , not stopping and me hitting her and the crunch of metal I wont forget.. Its like everthing in Slo MO but you cant do anything about it

At least Im alive, with only a stiff neck/back and a headache..

Yea The GA has been put through about everything..

Like I said tho, Its more sentimental value.. Yea Its just a 96 grand am, but many many good memories
