i have a 93 plymouth acclaim and i put the dmm on my brand new batt out the car it reads 12+ but when i put it in the car and start it its readin low 11s,it idles rough and barely wants to stay started..between yesterday and today i did:

new alternator, fuel filter, complete tune-up,air idle control valve. what could it be????

would that make it idle rough???
Low voltage would, yes.

I checked, and I think your voltage regulator is built in on your alternator, so if the regulator is bad your new alternator is bad.

Do you have a Kragen/O'Reilys or an Autozone near?

They can check your charging system for free if you can get your car to them.
