Car Comparision: Audi S4 vs. Subaru WRX STi

Well Im graduating with my 2 year degree this may and Im going to commute to a 4 year college which is a bit of a drive. So Im looking for CA's opinion of the 2 cars or another one under $18k that is newer then 2000 (and has like 60k-80k miles)

the audi will get way better gas millage. subarus **** for that. you can make more power outta the s4 than the sti. subaru didnt make there cars very well, and there drivetrain sucks dick. get the audi

The Audi S4 is a great car, and yes it can make some power.But, if that's the way you're wanting to go, be more than prepared to lose your home and everything else because the upgrades are beyond expensive for the Audi.

The STI is just an STI, good little cars irregardless of what anyone says. They're still fast enough, can lay down gobs of power relatively cheap, and look pretty good.

I myself would get a Honda accord v6 coupe there rely nice and fun to drive a little big though to go around corners.

with 18g's why not buy a brand new car with warranty...there are lots of nice new vehicles in that price range

my dad has an 05 S4 w/V-8.... I LOVE that thing.. its like a little frickin toy w/ the luxury... steering is sensative as hell which I love. AWD which is key, 0-60 it kept up with my uncles 98 Supra TT putting out about 350 to the wheels... S4 is 350 at the crank... just a great car.. he hasnt had 1 problem with it since he got it... and it sounds great!... the newer S4's don't have the same engine rumble. Can take the entrance ramps to highways at like 60mph. corners excellent!

on a side note... my bro jsut got an 07 Lexus GS450H...and its just as fast, if not faster than the S4... can't beat electric motor shifting time...ohh, and he got it for $19K!!! something else to look into

not really, i owned one. the only money i spent on it was modifying it.. never had one problem with the car. doing the timing belt is alil expensive, but its easy to do yourself too on a audi
