Car CD Changer Help

Hi guys, hope i have the right forum for this.

My girlfriend just recently bought a 2nd hand Alfa Romeo and it comes equipped to install a cd changer in the boot, currently there is an 8-pin plug stucking out in the boot (presumably connected to the player itself) and i'm after buying her the cd changer to plug into it.

I'm just looking for some assistance in what it is i actually need and a recomendation on a good, cheap multi cd changer.
