blazer got broken into yesterday, they attempted to steal my h/u, but thankfully i had the metal bar on the back connecting it to the firewall:laugh: but the bastards did take the faceplate ****ing pisses me off and they ****ed up the trim piece around the h/u and ash tray, now i cant lock the back window and tail gate so i had to take out every thing that would interest a theif.. sucks *** but thats all they got away with they left the subs and amp, thing is they had to crawl across the subs to get to the h/u thankfully they didnt damage the subs was time to upgrade anyway:help:

my old truck was broken into twice. The 1st time they broke my window but didnt get anything since they accidentally lodged the drivers seat head rest into the horn but I still had to replace the window. I then went and got an allarm but the second time it was broken into they were able to blow the fuse on the alarm before setting it of and took off with my soundstream amp and that was it. So I then took everything out of my truck and stashed it in my closet for the time being and about six months latter someone broke into my house and stole the rest of my car audio stuff plus a knife and 2 new pairs of wrinkle free slacks and some cds.

From just that I have learned to be careful were you go and who you hang around and also not to let people know you anything of value.
