got my battery tested, the interstate test from midas said battery replacement is highly recommended

battery results:

voltage 12.59V

measured 220 cca

rated 650 cca

temperature 22 C

starter test:

voltage 11.34V

time 2.47s

Charging system test:

no load 14.32v loaded 14.040v

ripple 70mV

-0.10v.

where would i buy a good battery that will be good for my system and start my car?

i drive a 2006 chev malibu lt v6 3.5l, its got a stock batt in it atm ( that apparently is bad )

im gonna be runnin 2 sa-12s with a rockford fosgate 1500

also a question about the subs, im not quite sure how i connect the wires together in the subbox, ill be wiring to 1 ohm.

I have had good luck with my yellow top as a starter. They are pretty cheap and can be found anywhere. Im sure there are better but it has worked for me. You will want to do the big 3 upgrade also for that amp

yeah, im going to do the big 3 when i can get some spare change, is there any good batterys on canadiantire.ca ??

and what kind of yellow top, i need to know what i should be looking for and the price.

Yellow top would be the last batt I would run out and buy and cheap would also be the last word Id use to describe them lol

Price yes.. Performance no. As a truck battery, XS all the way if you can afford it. Starter, the YT is fine.

I have a Power Sonic 100 AH AGM Group 31 battery that I will consider selling you if interested. PM me if so. I can take pictures tomorrow. Never saw below 12.8v using a DD M3 pushing ~3300 Wrms wired at .5 ohms.

It is 2 months old.

If you are going to go with Optima I suggest a red top for under the hood because yellow top's aren't exactly ideal starter batts.
