car battery dieing

so im running 2 gauge wire in a 97 jeep cherokee pushing a 3000 watt amp (pyle i know ***** now i know better) put it in 2 months ago and now cars dieing should i put another bat in the back??

If your battery is dying you want to replace the one up front. What is your voltage at with the car off? Have you gone to a place like autozone or VIP and had your battery tested?

you need to find out what the problem is first ,then fix that ,then add extra batteries if needed.i kind of doubt that amp is the issue.doesn't make even close to half of 3k ,maybe 1000 watts rms at most.

bat is at 12v wen off alt is good and so it bat checked at autozone it only doesnt start wen i use my subs other then that wen there off it starts fine

drawing too much power then, add the extra battery ,it will help

yea thats wat i thought but dont have the money for a good deep cycle bat right now or a optima any ideas??
