Car Audio shop fried my amp?

Ok. I was actually looking into the same exact amp you have in your signature. Money is not the problem, as the alternator is 12 years old anyway. So when it does take a crap, I'll just replace it with a h/o then. Quickly glancing, I saw a few rated at 250 amp for $120ish- $150ish. Is mechman or singer built any better than the ones I saw in the price range I stated?

Yes, you will not get a 250 amp alt for $150. They realistically probably do less than stock.

Yeah man, I love Loud music, but after visiting this forum, I see some people love it a lot more lol. I don't think I'll be upgrading. In my small hick town, those (8) Kickers are like Godzilla to these people lol. I'm ok with being subpar on a serious level, and a Hero on a local level lol. Just kidding.

Lol Same thing around here. My hdc318 on a Rd audio 1750 is louder than 99% of these people have heard and they become amazed.

Hey guys, not sure what exactly fried this time, but last fix on ZX2500.1 was about $120. How much is a fair asking price for how it sits now? I realize I can't even explain what it needs, but I figure it could be fixed again for around $120ish. Maybe fried resistors? Any who, what would be a good number to put on this thing? Price wise.

Also, just ordered the BRX2400.1D to see how they measure up with subs. I got it new with warranty (1 year) for $275 shipped to my door. Will be here Friday, which works great because there is another competition this weekend here in town. My 153.3 should be a little more this trip, considering I'll have a better Ohm load, and proper set up... LMAO!

Please don't take that serious anyone, just pulling your RCA's lol. I done the research, and feel the Hifonics Brutus amps aren't bad, and make close enough to rated power. Also, this way, if I do go up on subs, or required power, I can buy another one, and strap em'!

If you don't feel like getting all the things separate, cutting wires, crimping, etc. Then yes.
