Car audio problem

its using more power than what the alternator can generate. In other words, read up on the Big 3 thread and upgrade your electrical. That is is you have stock electircal.

Also, check your b attery terminals, mine did that and found out my battery cables were old and had a cut in one of them. Or maybe all together a simple battery upgrade is in order.

 
I have a 1200 Watt mtx thunder amp and my battery is an optima yellow top battery. I i have recently put in a capacitor, but it still just shuts off a lot. Do you think i need another amplifier? Or do you think its a bad head unit?
