i was told soundstream was bought by the owners of visonik.

Not that I'm aware of.

Visionik is owned by the Anaba Group.

Soundstream is owned by Power Acoustik.

adire is out of business. whats the deal with the patented motor tech. that they held? were they selling the rights to use it to everyone else? re used to use the same structure.

Dan Wiggins (along with apparently David Hyre) still hold the patent for that motor tech;

I believe he formed a new company where they are continuing to use/license the technology.

I might be wrong as Beyond Audio was going out just as I was coming onto the forums....but I don't think Beyond Audio was ever "the same" as RE, though they might have used RE as their buildhouse.

RE = resonant engineering, resonant engineering = RE, k? k.

US Amps is now the majority stock holder for RE, so basically what they say goes.This is kinda old news.

Try not to over complicate things that do not need to be over complicated.

Not like it matters anymore, or has mattered since YEARS ago.

The "Resonant Engineering" name was dropped a long time ago, in favor of RE Audio, officially.
