Car audio business

I'm hoping there is at least one or two people out there that do the car audio thing for a living, or maybe are someone familiar with it. I'm talking generally here, I just want to start a small business with installation and retail. What would be a good way to get started with this? What do you think is a good area to start this kind of business? im not a certified installer but im really good at what i do so what i did was connected with a guy that sold gear at a local fleemarket and offerd my services whenever someone buys gear from him i offer to install for the customer for a small fee alot smaller than they would pay at a local shop and they love it while they shop there geting there decks,amps,and speakers installed,and i make a lil money on the side

Hey I'm really interested in doing car audio installs too. I'm not an expert or anything but I did most of my own car and have helped with a few others. If you guys are serious about this let me know I'd love to help. I've been looking into going to get MECP certified have any of you thought about it?? let me know. Thanks for starting this post what a great idea.

I do this for a living, first thing is to figure out where you are going to do this? then who will do it? what kind os starting capitol do you have?? then contact some of the rep firms and wholesalers in your area, get back with me if you are serious, I did it, ill help if i can
