car amp repair man.....

car audio.com is a mess today..it keeps opening up new windows on my computer..sending me to a classifieds ad and a few other forum area's..I'm logging out..anyone trying to get ahold of me or who has sent me a PM..I'll answer it when this stuff settles down..you can always reach me at: ifixamps@yahoo.com

sent you an email about another amp I need repaired...should be fun, it's a tube amp...US Amps AX-TU600...Thanks!

Bump for amprepairman! He fixed an amp for me and I couldn't be happier //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

OK...I have to ask that you STOP! I am right now backed up about 3 weeks and I am totally out of space....If I have already talked to you today..go ahead and send in your amp but with that I have to stop for a couple weeks...I really appreciate the way you guys have just hammered me with amps and I appreciate all the emails and comments here but man..you win...I cant take in anymore....This place is standing room only....

I'm considering not taking in class D amps anymore after I do catch up..They generally cost more to repair and I end up sitting on them longer waiting for people to pay me for them and most of them are useless above 200 hz anyway they are dirty sounding and for a guy who is into sound quality as much as I am it's just not much fun as some of those amps on their best day run at 2%THD..Besides..when I fix a amp I like to run it at full power..for a while... to make sure it's gonna be OK..I'm not set up to run a 3000 watt amp at full power for a hour to make sure its right...it dims the lights in the building...people get mad at me...the loads I'm using get so hot I hafta open windows and its the middle of the winter..There are many guys out there fixing class D amps all day long...I'm more into sound quality and performance of class A-AB amps...We'll see what happens...

mabye you should consider not taking the larger class -d amps. like under a certain size or wattage or something. because im sure a 500 watt class d would be a cheaper and quicker fix than a 1500 watt one.

that's too bad your not taking class d amps anymore i never needed a class ab amp repaired its always the old bass amp
you should run some class a/b on your sub stage and tell me it doesn't sound one helluva lot better. clean power is better power.

not true, they need power. but they will get loud for however many watts you have it set at, especailly if its clean power. But your right, need a stacked battery bank for most.
