So recommendations on car alarm systems?

Definitely want something concealable, I'm thinking I could rig a small backup battery system with an isolator so that the lead to the battery can be cut without killing it.

I'm also liking the idea of a 2-way system, because I tend to think no one gives a shit about an alarm going off.

I really like the idea of those incar cameras that transmit to your Fob, but I've never seen one installed and am skeptical of how well they work.

Yea my buddy has the 5902 Viper with an app on his iphone that controls the car just like a remote.. Pretty crazy

I cast my vote for the Viper 5901. I love mine. Cost an arm, leg and testicle though.

My thinking is that, lets face it, sometimes an alarm, no matter how loud, can just be useless as it ultimately depends on the people around your car.

A 2-way system where you can see whats going on in your car mobile, would seem more useful. More expensive yes, but for something that actually works i think that idea in practice is worth more than 400 bucks.
