He actually didn't want ANYTHING around the bezel on the faceplate , believe it or not. he would have been happy with un-painted , raw MDF.

Yeah...because this customer was so critical of his stereo installation that he "hired" you to fly to TN just to install his system.......yet he is so uncaring about the install that he would have been perfectly happy with raw MDF surrounding the HU ?? Hmmm......

I've done installs like this in a couple hours, and charged basic labor rates.

Why in gods name would someone pay for a flight, and then labor, to have THAT done?

It's a basic ****ing install...you're making it out to be a Fishman 10 month custom job...douche.
