capaciter or battery?

i currently am running all my audio off of a stock alternater. right now i can not afford a new alternater so i want to know if i should go with a bigger battery. maybe an optima? or a bigger cap?. i have (2) hifonics brutus 1600 watt class d mono amps powering (2) 3512 subs. 1 amp to each sub. and a 6 channel mid amp powering 6 speakers. should i do battery if so what kind? or should i go with a cap, if so how many farads

Have you upgraded the big three? If not, do so. Then buy a batt.

X2 and look into putting a group 31 agm upfront at least. Be it an optima, kinetik or deka. With 2500+ watts of power it is really time to start thinking of an alt upgrade.

Most cars will probably not have enough room to fit a 31 series up front. Group 31 size in the rear!

You would be suprised what you can fit if you are willing to do basic mods. Course it also depends on the vehicle. If you are fighting with air cleaners or depth issues then it would be more difficult.

X2... it may not fit in the little factory battery holder... but with a little mild fabrication and some creativity... you'd be surprised what you can fit.

Get a bigger alternator..If you have already done the BIG 3....an extra battery is the worst thing you could do.....Sale the cap
