Cant fit my **** wire ring on my 4 gauge wire

Whats the best way to get it on there? When I strip the wire the strands inside got like bigger, it looks like it wont even fit in the casing anymore. Whats the best way to get my ring terminal on there?

Are you asking how to fit a 4 GA ring terminal on a 4 GA wire? Keep trimming the wire untill it fits?

well if you have to cut off a few strands oh well, dont do like my buddies and cut down 0g to fit into a 4g input on the amp, thats just retarded... cutting strands off a 4g wire to fit into a 4g terminal... yeah thats not a problem lol

crimp/put some solder on the wire end

ive always just took some pliers and crimped really good. always worked for me

i use a punch and a hammer. put the wire in the terminal, set it on my vice and use the punch to "crimp" it

CRIMP then solder then heat shrink it should stay on

Just push it in, you'll loosen it up eventually.
