So heres my issue. I currently have a run of 4 gauge power wire connected to my speaker amp. I'm adding a kicker 750.1 to power a cvx so I was going to split the 4 gauge into another two 4 gauge wires using a new Stinger distribution block I bought. However, I dont have any fuses for it, and its going to take a couple weeks for them to get here if I buy them from Ebay. I do happen to have another distro block, but it has two 8 gauge outputs, with 40 amp fuses in it. Will there be any problems if I connect 8 gauge power to both amps? I know I wont get full potential out of the kicker amp but I could turn down the gain until I get it hooked up properly

Would it be ok to do this as a permanent thing?

I have a 4 gauge run and a 4 gauge in two 8 gauge out distro block I planned on running to each amps

(one 800 watt one 200)
