can you run a 4ohm sub at 2 ohms? i just bought 2 4ohm 15" l7's and was wonderin if this is possible.
seriously? didnt bassin just answer that.Depends on the number of voice coils. if there are only 1 voice coil on each sub then you can run them in parallel to get to 2 ohms. If there are more than one voice coil it gets more complicated. We can tell you how to wire everything if you tell us what amp you have and how many voice coils your sub has.
ok heres my help thenSo/your not helpsing lol
LOL try againok heres my help then
OP if you have d4 subs then you have 4 ohm or 1 ohm. if you have d2 subs then you can wire them down to 2 ohms. as bassin said the L7s didnt come in svc configs
x2. if having 2 d2, then its .5ohm, 2ohm, or 8ohmLOL try again
