can you bridge a 4 channel amp

You guys are being a bit harsh on him. You dont have to answer his questions if you dont want to. I dont see him stirring up trouble, just asking a question.
well, james bang is a douche always. it doesn't surprise me that he would post dump in my thread.

BTW, i haven't received the amp yet, i'm waiting for UPS to drop it off.

Anyone experienced any change in the sound after bridging? I've been told that the sound is quite likely to become harsher/harder or something in that direction after bridging.
If this person ever tells you that again, they should be laughed at promptly. Absolutely no basis for that theory what so ever.

I've heard that class d amp where harsh on the tweeters too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

It will sound better trust me, even at low volume you feel the powa

This is the first thing I notice when I put My hood from Jeezy, the upper midbass was so tight!

what comps?

If it's a class AB amp it will not cause the sound to be harsh, but other types of amps are likely to send a harsh sound to the speakers when bridged from what i've heard on crutchfield

Yes, I believe he meant class AB amps but now I don't have to believe that no more. I might have to bridge later on then it is quite hard to find affordable, more than two-channel amps that give enough power for power hungry comps.

A class D amp can't play higher than like 400hz if i'm not mistaken so there is no use with components.

I'm using a class A/B Mb Quart amp that was like 100@4 ohm x 4 or 300watt @4 ohm x2

My ear aren't audiophile certified, but from what i've heard there is no degradation in the sq and there is more dynamics at any volume. In the end it sound a lot fuller...
