Here is The Vynil Dan from DME gave me:

Dan also gave me MDF boards to frame the amp rack.

He told me I need to use 3M super 77 and said something about putting alcohol on the vynil. He said if I want to dye the vynil I needed something from autozone. I've taken up enough of his time so I don't feel I should email him. At least not for a long time.

Here is the color of my car's door panels I was wanting vynil that color but he didn't have any.

Can I sand the box down to remove the raised holes from screws or should I leave them to locate the correct location of the speakers?

So how do I attach this the correct way?

Ideas for the box

I think I should build a raised amp rack on the box. I think it should be 1 or 2 MDF boards. If two glued them together and clamped. Glue would be titebond

What I want to do is what he suggested. Blend the vinyl with carpet. I want to use black carpet for the amp rack. I want to use one or two boards and glue black carpet that will match the coverboard. I want to glue the black board down I think after I get the Vinyl glued so that they blend. Does that sound right?

For the coverboard supports I'm thinking polished Aluminum.

How would I do that?

(I'm also going to lift the coverboard just a tad so my amp rack idea will work (the side parts that had 2x4's will have 4x4's under them and be glued down to the body of my car. I had wanted the box to be non removable glad he didnt do that so it worked out!

Because he doesn't want to install anything for me right now. We had a big disagreement. I was going to spend about $2000 with him next time but right now he doesn't want to do that. (this was going to be months down the road

I don't get why you paid 1800 for something you were only gonna use temporarily. And after that shit job, you were gonna spend 2 Gs with him a few months down the line?

Seriously are you right in the head? I dont mean that in a bad way. You had a FVCKING 96 IMPALA. you could have sank all this dough you are wasting in the Hyundai on that. You could have put an LT1 engine in there and really felt some speed. Instead you paid that dude for a half assed job that obviously you're not pleased with and now need help fixing a job he did. Do you still have that Impala with the messed up Motor? I'll give you a grand for it tomorrow. I'll even drive to meet you.
