can someone show pics of how to wire front and back battery together

you can use any two together you want, really. and no battery isolator is needed. just do a run of power wire from the + in front to the + in back, and the same for the -. then you can ground your amp(s) to your back battery's - and power wire to the back battery's +. it's pretty simple.

sorry i don't have pictures though.

can someone show pics of how to wire front and back battery together, and do u need to add a battery isolator? and can u use a yellow top and a red top together? or will i need same battery. thanks
just make sure everything is fused, so no shit catches fire

thanks alots i appreciate the help so i should run the wire with 1/0 or 4g

should i put the yellow top in the front or the back, and the red top. right now yellow is in the front.

One run for the + AND one run for the - ? I thought 1 run for the + then ground the front in stock locations and ground the back battery to a good solid spot?

If you did have a run for both, would you need to fuse both or just one?

I actually just did this in my truck.

you always connect + to + on both batteries.

way 1) connect - to - on each battery

way 2) ground battery 1 - and then ground battery 2 -

I did way 1. Most people use 1/0, for the most part it is overkill but its better safe than sorry. Mine are fused at 250. You fuse 12 inches aft your first battery, then on the same wire 12 inches before you get to your rear battery.

Which battery is in front doesnt matter at all, go for convienance here. Technically your just making one big battery in the first place.

If your running wires off the back battery into your amps, then you will need another fuse on the + wire (depending on the length of this wire is what tells you if you need 1. I went into a distro block aft my back battery so I put a fuse right before the distro block to be safe.

okay so once i wire 1/0 wire to the back + and - and hook up the fuse, when im wiring to the amp can i use 1/0 g into a distro block that split into 4g wires or is it best to run it all with 1 g, my amp say 1/0 requird though. i might use 150 amp for the fuse block in the front and the back. thanks again

so i would need another fuse where the back battery is at, before i can wire up the amp,

quick pic so no laughing...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

you want to protect the wiring for **** ups and that requires fuses, so if the power wire grounds out, it will only take out the wire to the fuse...The fuses protect the wire and your car not the amp, amps have their own fuses to protect them...

my sad little diagram is about the best way to make sure your car and equipment do not burn to the ground...
