got 2 factory refurbished amps last week plugged them up and they played for 5 minutes and are now stuck in protect. I only have power to them and they are stil in it. what could be wrong!!

If they are in protect with only power supplied, they are broken. Granted you're giving them 12.4 or higher voltage.

they should be getting 12.4 cause my RFt30001 is playing my subs but my 2 component amps are in protect so how can I see if they are burnt out?

send them back.refurbs have a 90 day warr.dont they?
