Im 16 and recently got my first car which is great in all but the door speakers are blown. So i thought that if im going to replace those i mine as well do the whole thing. The only problem is that im on a 600 dollar limit and i want to replace all the speakers the head unit and but in a sub in the trunk. I was thinking bandpass but im not quite sure i listen to mostly rap/hip-hop so i want subs that can hit but i also want to hear the music. If anybody can help me with this please fill free to put in your 2cents. My car is a 2006 hyundai accent not the greatest car but as a first car i don't really care.

Do i will need an amp also but i was thinking 2 12" but the ones i was looking at i later found out were cheap brands thats why i came for some help befor i waste money

You should get with the local bassheads in your community and get them to help you out. I don't know how it is in DFW (its been a few years since i've been there) but if you hook up with the right people they'll help you out. Hell, here in the 502 we work on people's rides for free just to get them louder...lol, I can't imagine its any different anywhere else.

I don't know any expirenced bassheads my friends say they know this that an the other but its not always trusted. Now if i dont get bandpass the should i get a sealed or ported?

Hey man im here in dfw. Well north richland hills. I will help you out where i can but dont expect anything miraculous on that budget. I have some stuff at the house if you just tell me what size speakers you need or what kind of car you have. I have an extra amp and head unit at the house so you could spend more money elsewhere. Send me a pm and we can figure something out.

Get a cheap hundo dolla deck or so. Then just go talk to skar. Kevin can hook you up with a box built and 2 skar vvx-12s for i think $379 if i remember right. So find a cheaper jvc or kenwood deck for in the neighberhood of $80, then spend around $380 on the subs and box. Then get an audiopipe apsm-1300 or hifonics brz-1200 to power them and then get some kenwood speakers or infinity speakers just as a little upgrade then bamm. Your sitting right around $600 my man. Just an idea. Can always shop around
