Can someone help me with an aero port?>>

I want to use and aero port, but the calculator on PSP is confusing to me, so here I am.

The dimensions of this box I am building are:

32.5W x 15.5H x 21D

These are EXTERNAL DIMENSIONS and I am using 3/4 in. birch

Disp. of sub: 0.31

I want to tune at 30 hz.

How do I go about doing this? I want to keep as little port area as I can, but enough.

What kind of sub? This is the only way to determine how much port area is enough.

Without knowing this I'd say a single 6" port at 16" or dual 4" ports at 15.25" to get you started.

Well it's for an RD Alpha.......here are the T/S specs. and I want the box more for SQ than SPL hence the "less port area need."

How about Le, Xmax and Pe... Do you have these? I'll whip something up on WinISD, if so.

Well....Pe would be 2000.

Also.....I've run my specs through Box-Port Design and all I need to know is the how, what, where, and so forth for the port.

WinISD isn't jiving with the ts parameters you've provided...

If you have a box building program, doesn't it allow you to figure ports?

Either of the two I listed are tuned correctly, but I'm not able to calculate the Vent mach without WinISD cooperation. That's my only concern.
