Can someone help me design a box?

Hey guys....was wondering if someone could help me design a box for my two 12" W6v2s? I can build the box with my boss, he has a great wood shop and is does exellent workmanship, but i need the specific specs for the box. I dont know much about enclosores, so ill just state what kind of bass i like. I like hard hitting bass, like kick pedal bass in rock music, but i also like listening to rap, and enjoy the LOUD lows. Can anyone help me layout the perfect box to achieve this? here is a link to the specs on the subs(in pdf format). it lists the recomended specs and what not, but i need to know which type will get the sound im looking for. I will be running a AQ 1200D which is rated at 1200rms at 1 ohm. If you need anymore info just ask. Any help would be much apreciated. thanks!

Ive never used these woofers so i cant recommend anything based off personal experience, but what i can recommend is searching the forums for what other people have prefered with w6s.

I would just build a simple ported box based on JL's recommendations. Based on the manual it looks like you want 3ft^3 @ 30hz. The JL manual you provided even has free recommended plans that you could use. The stickies in this section have instructions on how to build a box and free designs:

OK....is 30Hz a good frequency for the kind of bass that i want? JL recomends 32.2Hz....Also if when im building my enclosure, if i make my port a little shorter will that make the Hz higher or lower...example lets say port length was suppoesed to be 26 in. for 33Hz but i make it 24 in.....will that make it higher than 33hz or lower than 33?

if jl recommends 32 that's what i would go with. Shortening the port will raise the frequency
