Amp: MTX RT202
Subs: MTX I have no idea (Whole setup given to me at once)
Ported box, guessing it was prefab for these subs
Scosche SLC4 ‑ High level line converter
I've had this setup for a couple months, and I could get great bass out of some songs but others I couldn't get a good response. So I bought a power acoustic digital bass restorer thinking the head unit may be dropping off the bass on me(BTW don't buy it just made what sounded like fake bass and a lot of rumbling in my subs) Quickly got that junk out and started messing with the gains on the SLC4. When I first installed it I read that it was OK just to turn them all the way up, but today I found out that if I just turned up one of the gains and the other all the way down I got better volume from subs. Is it because my amp is mono or something? I'm new to all this.
