Can someone explain box tuning to me?

I am building an enclosure for two boston g5's and will be using the passive radiators with them as well. According to the paperwork with the radiators I can either tune at 30, 35, or 45 hertz. What exactly does this mean? What will be the difference with each one? Is one more desirable for some types of music over another?

I will be powering them with a Kicker SX900.2 that has Digital Signal Processing which I see mentioned a lot with tuning enclosures. I do not know why. Any info you can offer will be appreciated. Thanks!

save ur money and port the g5 they absolutely love it give each one 2 cubes and tune low 30s... it will get loud easily in the 140s in a decent audio vehicle
