It will be for 2 assassin 8's. After gettin the replys from the design from the box on their site,thought i'd try for another design.Is 38hz ok?And is that 2.5" apart for each port?

well i tune my dailys for around 32 hz... 38 seems a lil high t ome but thats up to you

I always see where people tune a lil higher for 8's,not sure why though.

The sub has to be accounted for when determining what is a good tuning. In the case of the Assassin 8 it wants a pretty high tuning. Can't be said for all 8s though. Can't even say the tuning a 12 to 30 hz is going to work out well either.

My design looks quite similar actually. That port is HUGE though. How much power you planning on running?

i agree tune 8's higher..my friend has some memphis 8's tuned to 38 and they sound real good...he listens to all rock though no rap

i think that box looks pretty good despite my general hatred for labyrinth style ports (180 degree turns are bad for airflow).

my first thought was also that the port seemed huge, but if you plan on running the full RMS (or more) to them i think it may be necessary (and will help flow in the the port bends).

I plan to look for an amp that will do at least 700@2ohms for the pair. So,I may just stick with the box from ascendants site and see what happens,Thank guys.

Hope firing off the glass from the hatch will help out a bit.
