hey i have a 1990 ford thunderbird 3.8L v6 my stock alt fryed so i got a new one the stock was 65 amps the new one was 75 amp the 75 amper bearings went so i am gonna have to get a new one my father thinks that i might be better off getting one off a lincoln with a heater windshield or a recked cop car cause they will both have atleast 100 amp alt...... any ideas????? my amp in the car is a thump 800watt that i have changed the chips or the coils for more power and a better amp the place that did it for me said that i have 2 channel bridged 215 rms per channel at 4 ohm which is what i have it wired to so i have 430 rms and my deck with is 52x4 sony other then that i have aftermarket fog lights 55watt each

please help me

you should have at least 100amp alt. find a rebuilt one or a place that will custom build one to fit your car. it must work with your vehicles stock electrical system so keep that in mind if you try to swap out a junkyard pick.
