Ok, so i can get a Killer deal on a Kenwood KAC-7204 2-CHANNEL Amplifier (1000watts) And 2 Kenwood KFC-W3011 12" Subwoofers.

But i don't know if my car can power the 1000 watt amp. Its a 1997 Hyundai Accent GT. (with the 1.5L 16 valve DOHC engine.) I found on the internet that the alternator can push about 80 amps.

So what wold i have to do if anything to run this? What gauge wire? Do i need a bigger battery?

Any info would be appreciated. Im really new at this car audo stuff. And i dont need the biggest baddest system. But i like crisp and clear and loud music, and bass.

I plan on eventually getting a Poineer AVH-P5000DVD head unit. But for now i am just getting a Decent CD player. (don't know what yet But somethign fariley cheap)

Thanks! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

and me too...

That amp is only 500rms when bridged. Your stock alt will be fine. big 3 would be nice but really isn't needed.

I can get that amp for $134.00 brand new. Whats your killer deal?

No i can get it all for $179 New...... $210 shipped. I thought it was a pretty good deal...... Maybe not? I just wanted to make sure, because it would **** to buy all this stuff then it not work because it kills my car.

My car was free and runs good.. So i don't need a new one.

I just read about the Big 3 today. And i will most likely do it whee i get the stuff for my system.

lol, no thanks, I'm just goign to get something cheap for now that i can connect an amp to.

Ok, how big of an amp do you think my car can handle before i get electrical problems? With a little research I'm almost positive my car has a 75amp alternator. So how big of an amp can i get?

I don't need the biggest baddest system around. I just want some bass, and good clear, and sometimes loud music. I listen to Rock, Metal, Alternative type music.

Thanks!
