Can I sue for being arrested for something I did not do?

He didn't appear to be the sharpest tool in the shed. It's like the chick at Wendys who said there was a finger in her chili. All they had to do was do a finger check of the employees. I said he could sue, I didn't say he could win.

Just trying to seek advice on how to handle this till I talk back with my lawyer. With this many ppl at CA Im sure someone got in trouble for things they didnt do and how did they handel the situation.

Find out as MUCH information as possible about this lady. She had some motive for doing what she did. Find out what her motive was, and then you can probably go after her in some type of lawsuit.

Also, was it even possible for the lady to see into your car? If you can prove that it wasn't even possible for the lady to see you, then you could prove she is making this all up and probably sue her for something.

But the twist here is that the newspaper neglected to mention that the case had already been dismissed. As I understand it (without reading the article and perhaps asssuming too much) the newspaper's account would lead one to believe that there was a charge pending -- which the newspaper should have known was false.

At least the content of the story was original instead of it being something about getting pulled over for busting windows in houses as he passed by them bassing and when he got stopped he got busted for the weed he was smoking and the 5th of JD he had stashed in the glovebox or something similar...
