Can I run at .5 ohms?

I have a set of subs that I have my eyes on... They are dual 2 ohm subs so Id wire them to .5 ohms. I have a Digital Designs m4 amp that will be here tomorrow. I have a xs d3400 under the hood, and I will have (2) xs d3100s in the rear. I will have 6 runs (3+ 3-) of 1/0 knu ofc from front to rear along witha mechman 320a alt. Would I be okay to run at .5 DAILY?

if it were me i would do it. if you know someone that can measure your rise that will give piece of mind= im running .35 nominal and the only time my anp could see less than 1 ohm is below15hz and above 90hz.

it will be safer and more effcient to run at 2 ohms- try that for daily music listening.

I don't know anyone that could measure the rise at all. Car audio is not that big here in myrtle beach believe it or not. Well not competition wise or over 1-2000w. Should I get these 2 re xxx subs used for 600 and run them at .5 or should I hold out and get 2 new hdc12d4's? and run at 1 ohm for $900?

I wouldnt think twice about running that amp at .5 nominal, you seem to have really good electrical, just dont dip too low in voltage- you have a dash mount voltmeter? are the subs true D2, some subs that state D2 are really D1.4- bringing you down to .35.

I'm not running any of that ATM. I ordered all of it and it's being shipped to me daily lol. I WILL be getting a volt meter though to monitor it though. Ill cal RE Audio and ask them.
