can i make a fuse holder out of wood?

may sound like a dumb question,but could i just screw my fuse to a piece of wood and connect the powerwire? im talking bout 300a anl fuses btw....if not has anyone here made fuse holder?better yet can i just connect the fuse and wire and wrap with electrical tape? again these are real questions so dont flame me

why not just get a fuse holder im pretty sure there is at least on in the classifieds, wood might catch on fire, ur second idea is doomed to be fire.

Yes you can, but it's slightly dangerous.

**** it up and buy a cheap fuseholder off ebay. It will be much safer and won't look ghetto as hell.
