Hey I have some questions about wiring an amp up to my components, because my 4 channel just died and i'm buying a new one. I had my old 50x4 amp wired up like this: 1 speaker per channel, the two tweeters on the front channel and the mids on the rear (all four speakers are 4 ohms each). Is this the right way to do it? Should I get a 4 channel and bridge two channels to each side, giving 100 watts to the left tweet+mid and 100 watts to right ones? But wouldn't that make my amp see a 2 ohm load? Or should I get a 2 channel and run each channel at 2 ohms? or should i stick with my old way of doing things?
